We booked a last-minute stay at this cozy cottage and were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and comfortable accommodations. The prime seafront location provided stunning views of the beach from the large living room window, and the privacy screen allowed for relaxation without prying eyes. Allison, the host, was friendly and always available if needed. The quirky artwork and furniture added a unique touch to the space. The spacious wet room with a great rain shower provided constant hot water, and the compact kitchen had everything we needed for home catering. We enjoyed dining outside on the front patio on sunny days. The small touches, like a basket of goodies and a well-stocked fridge, made our stay even more delightful. Parking was convenient, just a short block away. a wonderful experience that we highly recommend!
We do recommend this hotel.

The view over the beach was absolutely stunning. I loved waking up every morning and gazing out at the sparkling sea. The location couldn't have been better – right by the beach but still in a peaceful area. The accommodation had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, with a well-equipped kitchenette and a cozy bedroom. The wet room with a great rain shower was a nice touch. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, even providing a welcome hamper tailored to our dietary preferences. Despite a couple of small issues, the hosts were quick to address them and ensure our stay was enjoyable. I found Beach Cottage to be a lovely retreat for a beach holiday.

The location of this cottage was absolutely amazing, with fantastic views from the living room area. the beach was just a short walk away, and we enjoyed spending time there. Another great aspect was the excellent communication with the host, who made sure everything was in order for our stay. the welcome pack provided was fabulous, and we appreciated the thoughtful gesture.
The mattress in the cottage was not the most comfortable, but we managed to sleep okay. the sofa could have been more comfortable too, and having a footstool would have been a nice addition.

My recent stay at Beach Cottage was absolutely fantastic. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views overlooking the beach. The owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The cottage itself was spacious and comfortable, with cozy furnishings and a homely atmosphere. I loved the extra touches like the welcome box of goodies and the provision of tea, coffee, sugar, and even a bottle of Prosecco. The kitchen had everything we needed, although I would have appreciated a few more items like a jug, microwave bowls, and a casserole dish. The shower was fabulous, although being a wet room, the floor did get wet, but the towel dried quickly with the lovely weather we had. The nearby village offered local amenities and a pleasant promenade, and it was an easy walk into Berwick-on-Tweed. Parking was a bit of a council issue, but it didn't cause too much inconvenience as we were out sightseeing most of the time. Despite minor niggles like the recycling confusion and the slightly uncomfortable mattress, our overall experience at Beach Cottage was wonderful. I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable stay. I had a great time and would definitely return.

The view from the living room was absolutely stunning, with a perfect picture window overlooking the beach. It was such a treat to wake up and see the ocean right in front of us. the communication with the hosts was excellent. They were very prompt in responding to any queries we had and provided us with all the necessary information we needed for our stay. Plus, the welcome pack they left for us was fabulous, filled with delicious goodies to enjoy during our Christmas holiday.
The shower in the wet room didn't drain quickly, resulting in a pooling of water. It was a bit frustrating to have to constantly watch where we stepped to avoid slipping on the wet floor.
